Easily connected to my laptop for additional storage of my videos, pics and games. Have had no issues with other Western Digital devices in the past.

I got this because I was working on a short film and was needing to house >5 hours of raw 4K footage. So far, I’ve used a little more of a Terabyte and have housed all of my footage plus a few Adobe Premiere/ After Effects projects. Only complaint is that the exact space of the hard drive is 3.63TB instead of the full 4.00TB advertised. But overall, it’s a high quality product for a reasonable price.

It is easy to use. Added storage to my XBOX one. took 1 min...now I have space for ton's of games--from 20 large games to 160+ of games--in comparison to the storage I had on the 500GB HD. I haven't even scratched the surface yet. It is extremely fast. Did I mention it was on sale for $70 at the time...I should have bought 2 or 3....Amazing!

I bought this because my Xbox One X games that are 4k enhanced take up a lot of memory and this was a really good deal. Get one if u need the space

Western Digital is really setting the standard for inexpensive external portable hard drives.

I purchased this item on the recommendation of a sales associate, as I was eyeing a similar item that was costing considerably more. This was a quick set up for my Mac mini and I was able to easily partition it and format it for use to plug and play with both my Mac and Windows devices. So far, it has worked as well as advertised. A great product at a great price.

I buy a lot of hard drives for various projects, and they get tossed around a bunch. I have a bunch of this model and in various sizes as well, and I haven't had one fail yet. They do go on sale fairly often. If you're buying in store be sure to check the price on the BestBuy website, they don't always match, but they will obviously price match their own website.

Works great and I'm a photographer, I use it to store all of them to keep my computer running smoothly.

This is probably the only 4TB drive you will find for this price. It is a Best Buy only product but works fine just like any other external drive.

Purchased for extra PS4 storage. Works well to offload unneeded apps off the PS4.

I purchased this portable HD for my PS4 Pro, and I can confirm 4 TB is a LOT of space. It comes in handy if you have one of the 4K consoles, as the games are upwards of 50-100GBs. It's small so it fits anywhere and won't get in the way. It's also very fast, loading up my games with little to no latency.
