Great price for high capacity storage. They should ad a rubber case to make it more durable, but still a great buy.

This item was on sale on Black Friday for 79.99 USD. At this price this is a great bargaian. I previously owned one and it is quite reliable.

I got this because I was working on a short film and was needing to house >5 hours of raw 4K footage. So far, I’ve used a little more of a Terabyte and have housed all of my footage plus a few Adobe Premiere/ After Effects projects. Only complaint is that the exact space of the hard drive is 3.63TB instead of the full 4.00TB advertised. But overall, it’s a high quality product for a reasonable price.

Exactly what I needed at the right price. Hopefully the SSD version will reasonably priced soon too.

I wanted to store my music, photos, etc. on one drive instead of on several. The size enabled me to do that very easily. Great to work with.

So much storage space at such an affordable price, I almost purchased 4. I may wind up purchasing several more to store all of my digital media. We purchase all media digitally and have amassed an iTunes collection of 439 movies. While they can be streamed, I also download them to have on the go to watch on my MacBook Pro when in areas of spotty internet coverage.

This is a great HD, a lot of space. I connected to my PC for my son to storage his video game's recordings.

Saves data quickly and easily. The USB 3.0 makes it compatible with newer (as well as older) computers. Haven't yet used the backup program.

I was able to back up the contents of my current laptop and iPhone with no problems.

I originally bought one of these to extend my storage space on my PS4. I liked it so much, I purchased a second one for my PC. The drive feels durable and seems it would absorb shock well from a drop. Though I haven't had that very unpleasant experience and am not willing to let it purposely fall to the ground, it does feel as though it could handle at least a light drop well. The performance is great. Nice and quiet operation and very speedy transfer rates. I've already recommended this drive to other people and they love it as well.

Needed to FREE up my lap top memory. This holds all my pictures, videos and data also. Private info or just saving info, it's a great choice.
