The is a quiet and small auxiliary storage solution. I have a fairly generous SSD on my laptop but am reserving it for programs and using this as my storage solution for photos/videoes. To date, it's been great and I have had no issues with it. Having the 4TB storage is great too...kind of like having a digital "closet". I will eventually get full.

Great product, I would recommend this product if you need additional space on your Xbox One.

Ok, here is my confession, I am NOT a tech master!! I just wanted an easy to use, powerful, portable storage device - so far, this little gem has done the trick! I use it to store HD videos and keep my memory cards free for more recordings - all is working well so - I am happy. Add to it the great deal I got from Best Buy and its a win/win.

Easy to set up on my MacBook. It does what it is supposed to do, haven't had any issues with it.

Use this as a time machine backup for my Mac. Already had to do a restore from it and worked as advertised.

I needed an external hard drive that would hold more than one image backup of my 1Tb laptop hard drive. This drive met the requirement and was within my affordability range, PLUS it gave me a Western Digital product. I've ALWAYS been satisfied with the performance and reliability of WD drives, and they are my number-one choice whenever possible!

This unit is portable and a very convenient storage unit. It can be powered by the computer that it's plugged into, and operates quietly.

I was able to back up the contents of my current laptop and iPhone with no problems.

I got this because I was working on a short film and was needing to house >5 hours of raw 4K footage. So far, I’ve used a little more of a Terabyte and have housed all of my footage plus a few Adobe Premiere/ After Effects projects. Only complaint is that the exact space of the hard drive is 3.63TB instead of the full 4.00TB advertised. But overall, it’s a high quality product for a reasonable price.

Got this for a deal at the time and had no problems storing all my files and pictures. The size of your palm and uses USB 3.0 so it’s transferring in a snap. The software that it comes included on the drive is useful if you have any other WD drives already so you can check their health status and capacity. Definitely recommend getting it!

I bought two of these hard drives during black friday, so I've only had them for 1wk. I'm impressed with how cool they stay while running for hours as I move over several GBs of data. They did come with some pre-installed backup software which I decided to install on my computer for now. The software is completely unnecessary for the drives to function, and you can simply drag and drop over files immediately without any other automated bells and whistles. I'll update this only if the drives fail. As of now, 1wk in, they work!

My god! 4-tb! I remember my first pc had a gig of memory. Lots of space and seems quite stable.

Very easy to use, manage, and light to carry on. I really enjoy it, but I don' know about later.

Small but holds a lot information. Great price. Would recommend.

So far no issues, and doing its job with the One X. Got it for a great price and gives me the much needed extra storage for the console.
