Western Digital always does the job!

This drive met the requirement and was within my affordability range, PLUS it gave me a Western Digital product. I've ALWAYS been satisfied with the performance and reliability of WD drives, and they are my number-one choice whenever possible!

The size of your palm and uses USB 3.0 so it’s transferring in a snap. The software that it comes included on the drive is useful if you have any other WD drives already so you can check their health status and capacity. Definitely recommend getting it!

4 TB External Hard Drive

Set is easy and I can transfer docs and photos from the broken on to this new one.

I'm impressed with how cool they stay while running for hours as I move over several GBs of data. They did come with some pre-installed backup software which I decided to install on my computer for now. The software is completely unnecessary for the drives to function, and you can simply drag and drop over files immediately without any other automated bells and whistles. I'll update this only if the drives fail. As of now, 1wk in, they work!
