    Ok, here is my confession, I am NOT a tech master!! I just wanted an easy to use, powerful, portable storage device - so far, this little gem has done the trick! I use it to store HD videos and keep my memory cards free for more recordings - all is working well so - I am happy. Add to it the great deal I got from Best Buy and its a win/win.

    Good quality - reasonable price in compare with other external storage option. Using exactly same one for 2 years for local backup. No issues yet. So purchased another one for the same purposes to back up my cameras on my local network.

    After buying the product, I installed the software that came with it. For McIntosh’s it is crucial to install the software that comes with this drive. So far it works fine and it is doing well with saving my files.

    I needed an external hard drive that would hold more than one image backup of my 1Tb laptop hard drive.     Got this for a deal at the time and had no problems storing all my files and pictures. The size of your palm and uses USB 3.0 so it’s transferring in a snap. The software that it comes included on the drive is useful if you have any other WD drives already so you can check their health status and capacity. Definitely recommend getting it!
