It does not require an external power source and, best of all, it is relatively inexpensive. I use it as a backup for my Microsoft Surface Pro Laptop. Since it is USB 3.1, it seems to be really fast. I have had no problems or concerns with it.

I hooked one up on each of our computers and it’s a great storage drive. Highly recommended

Great for Xbox One

My main console is a PS4 Pro but I know that with the Xbox One X the assets will be significantly larger than the PS4 Pro (e.g. textures). So I figured that I might as well get a 4TB external HDD. I got this one for $100 off (Best Buy Membership discount). For that price, this external is worth it. The only thing that I dislike about it is that it has an LED light which can get annoying but I don't notice it since I face it the other way.

Good but not very durable

Make sure you don’t drop them even from a short distance. I had one that was lightly dropped and had to replace it. Otherwise a good drive for the price
