    I bought this for my daughter to use with her Apple Macbook. The Macbook has a small (by today's standard SSD internal drive which she fills up making her youtube videos. This external drive is easy to use with a Mac and provides a lot of storage at a decent access speed and for a great price

    I have a MacBook Air which is great but only has a paltry 64GB hard drive so I rely on external storage. I bought this to replace a 1TB WD drive I've had for the past 3y. Never any probs with theses external drives - reformatting to FAT32 to enable Mac to PC use is very simple through DiskUtility. Highly recommended.

    I've used WD hard drives for several decades and they've never failed me. I especially love the portable drives. I use one for travel. I put several movies on it and can easily watch them on my laptop or a TV wherever I am.
