Plug, and play with my PS 4 pro. I don't like boxes, or disks hanging around. So now I download almost all my games. It looks nice, sitting in the background , waiting to do it's job. You do have to plug it into a pad port, so you sacrifice a player port. If you want you can purchase a multi usb port adapter. I have had no issues, even when I had lost power situations, or a cold boot. it checks itself, and goes back to work. No worries! Love it!

It is fast, and ready to use out of the box. it comes with a USB and power cable too. Considerably more durable than other make,.is a hard deal to pass up when it comes to massive amounts of storage for cheap. Was instantly recognized by windows and received no errors

This harddrive was a great price for its size and works awesome as a network drive for my 3 computers at home. Was easy to setup and worked right out of the box.

I have two of these, bought the second because the first is filled. Usb 3 make it way faster than usb 2. I ended up reformatting it for linux (ext4) but it comes ready for windows

This offers a great deal of storage at a wonderful price point. I've purchased two and use them in addition to my pc to store files such as photos and have the second as a backup.

Works great, WD is the only HDD I trust, Not fast enough for my samsung tv but great for computers

nas level drive without the nas level price. Right now I'm using it as an external storage, but nice to know I can break it open and re-purpose it for a nas. Sale price was excellent.

I bought this drive when it was on sale. Great storage capacity, although a little bit slow and noisy.

Plenty of storage space and is actually rather quiet when its in operation.. Kind of a cheap plastic case for the drive though, it doesn't inspire a lot of confidence. But its easy to just plug in and let it do its job.

I can't speak for the quality of the USB enclosure since I shucked this drive the minute I got home with it, but the drive inside was a white label drive and works quite well in my NAS.

Awesome, inexpensive storage for X-Box 1X !! Easy to install, follow onscreen prompts within the X-Box settings app.

When this goes on sale, it's a steal. I got it for $160 although it's been lower. Mine happened to have a WD red NAS drive inside with 256mb cache! Very happy w the performance.

A great 8TB external drive for my video projects. It's easy to set up and I have not had any problems with Western Digital drives so I keep buying them.

I purchased this device a for my Playstation 4 Pro. It was very easy to install and now I have enough storage for over a 100 games this harddrive is perfect!

It was a great deal for the price. I also read online that they use WD Red drives which a great for NAS systems and can easliy be extravted from its case if desired to do so.

Easy to install, and especially Half the price of the original. Not only a great backup but also stores pics and videos which should last for a while. Especially for 8 TB.
