MASSIVE capacity, awesome price. I recommend everyone should have something like this to back up all of their computers and devices.

Great 8TB drive

I use it to backup my home videos and pictures from our vacations. That way we have an extra copy on one archive drive instead of spanning multiple external usb drives like in the past. Hopefully, it'll last a couple of years before we need to upgrade to a larger drive.

Overall, happy so far

Thought I would give this drive a go since it was well rated and since it was on sale for a good price for the capacity. Its speed is very good... five star on that. We had a little difficulty with it kicking out of iTunes now and then (with my iTunes library being on it), so that is the one thing that lowered my rating slightly. No other problems so far.

Easy set up

Skinny but not too tall either so it's easily stored. :)

Great external hard drive for novice

It was very easy to set up and inexpensive for the amount of storage. It is quiet and doesn't get hot or overheat. It is small enough to not take up much space and has a nice shiny finish.

Great storage solution

At $20 a TB, it's a good deal. The WD Red drive inside the case make it a great deal. I''ll be set on storage space for quote some time.
