Excellent value, fast hard drive. A little tricky to format for Mac, but working well!

Plug and Play - works well with Windows 10 environment. Initial access sometimes is a little slow if drive is idle for a longer period. Overall has been reliable.

There is so much space on this drive, will be able to backup computers, phones, tablets as well as camera photos, music and more. So far no problems experienced.

This drive is easy to use, has great storage capacity, and makes backing up data less tedious. I liked it so much I bought an additional one for a relative.

This hard drive more than meets the demand of everyday use. If you want to back up a lot of files on PC/Mac or (what I use it for) install your games on video game consoles, then this is a perfect drive for you. I found that I have a massive backlog of games, and my friends always wanted me to install older games that I had finished. No longer do I have to worry about keeping those games installed because of the size of this drive. It has fast access to files, and is large enough where I will also use it with the next gen of consoles as well.

It's a drive. WD has done a great job of brining this down to the affordable level. Notice that it does require both a power and a data cable (as compared to some smaller drives that can run entirely off USB). This seems to like one USB port more than another on my laptop. So if you're getting less than ideal transfer speeds, try another USB port. At these prices - there is no reason not to back up!

so far so good with no issues whatsoever. WD is not known for reliability issues so it's good value for money if you get this cheap

I've used WD drives for backups for years. This one was no disappointment, either. It gives me lots of space for plenty of backups for a pretty good price!

Not portable but does the job! A bit hard to set up if using Mac but works just fine

turned it on. It worked. It's 8gb. I might take it apart and put the ****er in my box... usb 3.0 is still kinda slow IMHO. No issues. meh.

Bought it to use with my Xbox One X as my previous external was smaller and had performance issues. This drive is fast and hasn’t given me a single problem yet. Although with any hard drive I always recommend getting the geek squad extended warranty because you DO NOT want to go through Western Digital if anything should happen down the line. Trust me on that one. WD will try to fight you tooth and nail to avoid a replacement and even if they do honor the warranty you will only be given a refurb. With Geek Squad it’s a simple exchange in and out no questions asked!

This is a great drive with a HUGE amount of space. I like the reliability of WD drives. I've never had a WD drive fail—unlike other brands.

I did a small research about the easy store and found out that the HD inside of them is the $300 WD RED harddrive , this is a premium HD, it Has a power outlet and a usb outlet , but it will turn off when you turn the device off , no need to plug it off the wall , it is working fine with my ps4 for now , just plug it in and ps4 will do the rest , i had the WD my passport 4 tb before it and it failed after one year if light use , so i wanted to try this , i will updating my review soon , in case something new happened ,
