The drive is nice and works well, but I couldn't get the backup software to work. It was upgrading from an older version of HP software and I haven't been able to get it to work right since the initial installation/upgrade failed. But the drive works fine, looks good, and provides plenty of storage.

FAST and SPacious!

Great for storage & backups

I have a few of these external drives including passports, but I needed a main external drive for just about everything I have done. This big 8TB external drive is just what I needed for ample storage of video and music files. Works great with Mac as time machine backup ! Not a solid state drive but very affordable for the amount of storage.
