Well it's a big 8TB hard drive so it's got plenty of storage for backing up all your pictures and videos. Easy to install and use. Even my Dad could figure it out!

Bought these on sale during Black Friday/Christmas and the price per TB was fantastic. I don't care to much for the design of the case but they work great.

I cracked this guy open and took out the drive and put it in a Drobo (NAS). There is a Western Digital Red drive inside which are great for a NAS. The drive was much cheaper to get this way than it was to buy directly. I also used the enclosure with my sister's old hard drive to her old computer so she could pull off the files she cared about. Great drive, still going strong!

Tons of space and the reliability of Western Digital.

Got this on sale and the value for what I got is excellent. I was able to plug it in and start using it immediately. Don't bother with using any of the WD Smartware stuff that it comes with. You should be able to start dragging files back and forth right away. Using this on an old Windows 7 PC that was upgraded to Windows 10 last year.

This is a must have for anyone running out of room on their xbox one. Very easy to setup. Turn on your xbox first and have it to main screen before you plug in your external drive because thats when you see the options of how you want to setup the drive. Catch it on sale if your able cause thats how I was able to get this great device. Major help with my growing collection of games.

Bought this HDD on sale, the price for 8TB at the time was a bargain. I have the 4TB version and it functions just the same. It does have some WD software to assist with backups but I simply handle my data manually. Writing to the HDD isn't too bad, I can usually get 80 MB/s on most transfers. Mine are used for archiving data, so I don't access them too often.

Loads of space. Good price. Have used WD drives for years and have been reliable.

I needed a extra external HD for my files. Works well. Not as fast. But it's fast enough for what I need it for.

I am using it as a time machine and I’m pleased with the performance. The only thing is that I bough it for 149$ and 5 hours later was 139$.... good stuff
