Best Value in Storage
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.While I have not have the hard drive long enough to speak to its reliability (really, no one has until a few years after using it), the value is there. There is a WD Red drive in this, which is the best possible for always on storage for things such as an NAS and storing your video/pictures/audio. At the price it was on sale, you can't pass it up -- or shouldn't.

With such ample amount of space, I'm able to store all of my photos, videos, and games that don't require insanely fast load times onto this drive. I can't say I'm unhappy whatsoever with the purchase.

Great drive for the price when on sale!

Will fit perfectly into a NAS or PC with a little elbow grease. Search for the DataHoarder sub on Reddit to find guides on how to make the best of your new drive!

Fantastic Product for mass storage and backup!!!

This one in particular serves my need as a universal backup for my desktop and my macbook. I've learned a lesson once losing all my data. So now, I backup my backup from the backup of the backup I had from my original backup of my data!! All on WD!!! Kudos!!!

Great for storage

It has not failed and gives me the additional punch that I couldn’t get by replacing the hard drive in the PS. It appears to play well with the PS4, anytime the power is lost, the PS4 discovers the extended storage and “fixes” it with no issues whatsoever.
