8TB of storage with a fantastic WD RED drive inside, great price

Easy to use and Great device to store tons of pictures and movies and ease up your computer. I was able to save all my files I've been saving on my desk top for the last 18 years! Still have lot of space!!!

Great drive, great price. would buy again. I missed it at the lower price but it is still worth it. 8TB drive with 256MB cache. YAY!!

It's crazy how the prices have dropped, I have the 1 TB and when I seen this for the price I had to jump on it. It's a good product.

I’ve been using this WD 8tb external drive for almost two years now. I use it for backup purposes using the included backup software on my windows computer. I’ve had flawless performance and it’s good knowing my data and photos are backed up. I use a cloud backup as well.

Yea it totally works and I have over 30 games installed on it and its still not 30% full but if you leave your xbox in quick start mode (not power save mode) after a while something happens where the HD looses its connection to the xbox on start up and it will not see the HD and will tell you that you need to install the game again (don't do this or you do have to go through the whole installation again). If this happens I just power down my xbox and the HD and then power both on and it works again. It only does this once in a while so its not that big of a deal but it still is an issue. If you do start a install again and then power down, you still have to re-install the game so keep that in mind. I have also noticed that the HD will only work if it is plugged into the port that it started with, if you move it to another USB port on the xbox one x it will not see it (strange but perhaps its only my xbox one x that is doing that). 8TB IS Awesome though so I would recommend this for Xbox one X.

So far, the WD Easystore drive is working very well on a Linux Server. I purchased 2 of these drives. In the past, I have had better luck with Western Digital than Seagate - i.e. lower failure rates.

I bought this when it was on sale. It had a WD Red Drive in it. I took it out and put it into my Nas, and it has been working great.

So, I bought two of these so that I could crack them open and get the drives out of them since they have WD Red NAS drives in them, which if you buy individually are more expensive than this was (I got it on sale). Of the two, one arrived and stopped working within the first week. I contacted WD and they replaced it lickety split. I now have two working drives. I put them through the ringer to test them before opening them since that voids the warranty. I now have both drives installed in a Synology NAS and they are working great!
