Started making a bunch of beeping noises, after a few days. Then it failed. I figured maybe it overheated, because I hooked it back up in an hour after cooling, then it died a couple days later completely. Great price, worthless product.

If you plan on shucking these, keep in mind the drives probably are sata v 3.3 which means if your power supply is not 3.3 compliant, you will have to use a molex to sata power adapter. I found out the hard way.

Wish I would have bought a couple since the cost of the guys fluctuates quite offend. When it goes back down to what I paid for it last, or cheaper I hope, I'll pick up a couple of more to put in my NAD.

So simple to use as it is a plug and play external drive. I was done transferring a lot of data in less time than I anticipated! I have peace of mind knowing I have my important data in a safe place!

I needed something to store backup copies of data on; because as they say, data you don't have backed up is data you don't care about losing!! We'll see how it holds out, but the drive inside is reportedly very highly rated!
