I hate having to plug it into power but it does what I need it to do

Only took a few minutes to reformat this drive for use with a Mac. Will use it as my time machine drive.

Was able to shuck and put in my NAS. No complaints here.

purchased as a backup to my computer and laptop carries everything that i need and then some drive is actually a WD Red so it has great performance and great durability. would definitely recommend to anyone that wants a drive for a similar reason.

I bought 6 recently. 4 were the WD rebranded reds. The other 2 are enterprise grade drives that get hotter than the other 4. Otherwise, great drives.

So far I have been very happy with this hd. I ran some tests and found out I was lucky enough to get a thailand 8tb red hard drive with the larger cache size. I have been very happy with it's performance even running games on the drive.

8 Tb disk for a price that beats other disks, also the same dimensions as lower disks. Good value for money.

Easystore external hard drives are excellent products.

The drive has worked as well as other WD drives, which I believe are generally the best. The backup software today comes with it for Windows isn't that great. I use it but it is probably more trouble than it is worth. The external drive, 8TB, reliable, is good. I wish it came with better backup software since the main reason for me to have this is backups. But if you want to store media, photos, side, etc. It is great.

Product is as described online. I have had no issues and it has plenty of memory to accommodate my needs.

This is a great drive with tons of room. It does a lot of extra stuff automatically but I just went into setup and turned everything off, all the automatic cloud back up or whatever it was doing. I just want to copy files to it. Super easy to do, don't hesitate, great Drive.

This is a great drive for storing media. Transfer rate is solid and have not had one fail. Great product!

Decent storage, great price during sales however 2021 has had quite a strong price increase

I am using the WD Easystore to consolidate multiple smaller hard drives. It is an excellent choice. The drive itself was easy to format for my Mac. It comes with improved WD software that allows for easy management of multiple drives. I liked it so well, I bought two. The second is for backup.

i bought this for my playstation 4, the lady that sold it told me said it probably would not work since it was made for a pc, I plugged it in, the playstation recognized it instantly formatted it and it works great. could not be happier.

Love how much I can put on this drive. Hopefully, it lasts longer than the warranty since I will be saving lots of videos on this drive. I switched to Western Digital from Seagate because Seagate 2TB died after less than 14 months and it was not under warranty anymore, so bye bye everything.

Have several of these for 2 years and they've all been working great so far. Make sure to back-up your data on at *least* 2 other drives!! Watch out for them to go on sale, which seems to be at least once every couple months.

Bought in June, loaded about 3TB of data on it. Unplugged till today, when the drive is unresponsive. Cannot be opened or initiated, gives fata error. Will never buy WD again, do not recommend. Go with Seagate. Moreover, Bestbuy support couldnt even tell me if repair had cost or not till I took it in-person... save yourself some trouble and buy elsewhere and just not this brand/model
