After having tried another external drive that I simply could not get to work at all, I purchased this one after returning the first. This drive is easy to use, and makes large backups very quickly through a USB-3 port. I am very pleased with it.

Great for the mass storage needs. I use it for backing up all my media. I have a second one to back up all my games from game pass on my xbox. Works great and I only have to download my games once and put them on each xbox

Currently using this drive to automatically backup family photos/movies, and other important files. Heard about the dependability and bit on this drive for $159.99. So far so good!

I purchased this external harddrive for my son for christmas this year because although we box the 1TB Xbox one it fills up quickly having to always download content from the games. Setting it up is easy and works great, my son loves he has so much room for more game storage now.

I bought this external hard drive during an emergency when my laptop was beginning to fail and I wanted to back up my photos. This unit was plug n play and immediately backed up everything on my laptop. Plenty of room left to put on additional items.

Mine had 8TB WD RED NAS drive in it. So far running perfectly. I highly recommend this product.

Bought these on sale for about 200 bucks each, a great deal as they contain WD Red 8TB drives, which by their own go for much more! Just know that the manufacturer warranty on these is much shorter than on standalone drives.

I typically used these drive (since I found they are usually WD Red or White label Red drives) for my synology NAS. I have 4 running now without issue. I use the WD Diag to fully scan each disk and so far each has been without issue.

This storage device works great especially for the PS4. It uses a usb slot but u can fit all of your games. I downloaded 80+ games and still got lots of room. The storage is amazing but u don’t have to buy the 8 TB, u can buy the 4 TB and still have your games downloaded

Bought this 8TB drive to keep up with the ever growing storage needed for gopro & drone video. Doubled my last hard drive & this drive seems faster transferring files to & from so really satisfied of course until this one fills up maybe a 16TB will be out by that time!

Its a hard drive what can I say I put files on it and there still there when I go back to them

I have never had a problem with a Western Digital drive.

What a great addition to our computers. What to do with over 100,000 pictures that uses up our computer hard drive space. With this easy to use external drive, everything was transferred over for easy access. And yes, the computer runs a lot faster now with all of the pictures moved.

I bought this hard drive so I could put more games on my PS4. This worked exactly how I wanted it. When I plug it into my PS4 it asked to format to the PS4 and I allowed it and I now have 16 games saved on my system and not even a TB of space is used.

this is my 3rd western digital I have no problem with it so far this is faster than Seagate
