I have 25 of them dating back to 2003, I keep the older ones disconnected when I don't need to access them, and my data is still accessable on all of them. This is the only external drive I recommend.

Bought this backup drive to back up our data on home desktop and wife's laptop, prior to upgrading from Win 7 to Win 10. Worked fast and served as another copy in addition to my WD cloud drive.

Never had to come close to deleting any more of my downloaded or saved PS4 games or files with this external hard drive attached. It's the largest size external hard drive that it is claimed a PS4 can use.

Bought this drive to reformat to EXFAT and use it on Mac and pc. Everything worked like it was supposed to. Plus it doesn’t get too hot like some large drives.

Like so many buyers, I purchased this external drive because of the enterprise quality read drive inside the enclosure. I have two of these for packing up all my photos and videos and they have been running flawlessly for the last year. Naturally, there is a spin up time after they have been sleeping and the noise of the heads to make them a little less than Ideal vs SSDs if you ar used to silence in your work space but they are fast and are a great value when you need capacity for redundant backups.

Got this to strip and use the HDD in my storage computer, took about 5 minutes to remove the case from the drive and get it up and running. Very easy to get into and at a good price.

I had a bit of difficult time getting the hard drive to work with my macbook pro, but after reviewing some youtube videos I was able to get them to work together. Now, everything is working quite well.

The WD easystore 8TB external hard drive worked well. It is slower than expected.

Works fine holds a lot of pictures and videos....easy to use

Purchased two of these when they were on sale Jan 4, 2019 for $129 + tax and not had any issues with either of them. Use them for my PLEX media center and they work great. One is storage and the other is backup

This drive enclosure allows you to get a 8TB WD Red drive for much less than if you were to buy it separately. The only downside is that the warranty is shorter on the enclosure, but it's well worth it for the massive savings.

Was looking for a larger external backup drive to store photos. My current 4TB drive was full and I wanted something larger so all files could fit into one external drive. The WD Easy store was the right size for the right price.

purchased this external hard drive because I needed for space for my movies, music and photos especially the RAW files. Looking into invest in another one or a 12tb. Great product.
