very reliable and bit big but much needed if your storing your files and trying to save ram on your laptop

The first Hd I purchased was very loud (bad Hd). Returned it for a second one and it works great! Ton of storage and got it on sale for a great price.

If you have a lot of people on you network like I do. This makes a good low power NAS with a raspberry pi 4 Just make sure to block Microsoft from your pi 4 not the files on the NAS just the OS and it will run like a clock... youtube has some videos on this. This is going to be my backup NAS so it's only going to run about 2 times a week. I just hope this is not an SMR drive if it is it's going back I will be testing it soon

The Easystore is fast and reliable. With my iMovie library on the drive I can easily move between computers and have plenty of room for huge files.

Bought for unraid server. Great red drive inside. Plan to by more on sale. Can’t find a better deal $/TB in a quality drive anywhere near this size.

This is a Red drive, easy to shuck and take the drive out so you can put it in your computer. I got 3 and put them in a RAIDZ (ZFS) configuration,

use this to expand my PS4-Pro HD capacity and works great, no lagging, gitter game play, you don't even notice you are playing from an external HD

USB3 5400RPM 8TB drive, when on sale it's the cheapest $/TB you can get... so far been reliable, fairly quiet and pretty quick on a USB3 interface

So far so good. Had to have more storage as three teens and Dad can't come to agreement on what to uninstall. The amount of space for the money seems very reasonable. Install was simple.

Best Buy arranges some serious magic with WD to get these 8TB easystore models priced extremely low at times, with the hard drive mechanism inside worth nearly twice as much. Those bare drives rarely go on sale, which makes these external models very popular. This is no cheap-o hard drive. These are a variant on the 5400 RPM WD Red, designed for 24/7 always-on usage in server systems. So far, mine have been extremely quiet as well. Zero complaints. Keep those WD deals coming, Best Buy!

I love this hard drive. So much, in fact, hat it's the second one I've bought! The hard drive is easy to set up and use, fast, and very reliable.

I was initially going to use this for my video games but decided to just use it for my computer. No complaints so far, was able to store tons of my photos pretty quickly and the HD isn't too loud at all. It was priced at a great price for 8 TB.

This is the second drive I have purchased. The first a year ago. The drive is fast, and takes up little desk space. Runs quietly. What more can you adk?
