Very awesome hard drive i use this for everything and stores all my impostuff on my computer and my games plenty enough storage

This is an 8TB drive. It can store a lot of data and a good drive for backing up your computer. It comes with Western Digital software including backup software.

Amazing amount of storage for the price. Plug it in and go. Use it to backup laptop and desktop. Both files and a very large numbers of photos.

Bought this to store important photos and files and I didn't even start to fill it. It also allows you to access files and photos quickly so it works really well.

This had a WD White Label EDAZ air filled drive. I was skeptical of the temperatures since I heard the air drives ran hotter than the helium filled ones. When I tested it with WD DLG it did get hotter than my other drives but once I shucked it and put it in the server where there was better airflow it cooled right down. As of right now it is running the same temp as my 8TB EMAZ's and EFAX's, about 35C at idle. So far, so good.

I bought this to replace my 1TB External for my Xbox One. I wanted a 5 Tb but Best Buy has no in-store purchase options for that, so I got the extra 3 TB. Works perfect with my One.

Western Digital always has been good for me. I tried another brand and it did not last as long as my other Western Digitals.

I fill up hard drives like water glasses. WD drives seems to last the longest for me and this one is working so far nice with two partitions in it on my iMac.

Was looking for a single-drive storage solution. For the price, this was terrific. There may be faster options out there, but if you just need raw storage, this is a good choice.

Loving this hard drive. The very large capacity is really a great feature of this hard drive. Very fast and portable. Looking to buy one more for my sibling.

I use this to backup my data, this drive works great. Pretty quiet, fast and it wont turn on until its plugged into a USB port. Highly recomend to anyone looking for an external.

I have bought 2 so far. Shuck WD red's at a fraction of the price. Will get 2 more to fill up the Ds 918+ nas. When they are on sale the price is to good to pass up

I havent had a problem out of this one at all. It does what it needs to in the background without any maintenance at all. Only thing is if it's in your view you'll see the white light blinking when its reading data but that's not a problem for me.

Very easy to use. Completely plug and play on my old laptop under Windows 10.
