Had many old videos and photos of my best 4 legged friend that I wanted to make sure very kept safe

Using this as a NAS attached via my router on a USB 3.0 connection. Flawlessly steams my movies, etc to multiple clients throughout my home without any problems.

second one I have purchased to back up a server using the "ROBOCOPY" command. speed is pretty good with USB 3.0, and plent of space. It is quiet during operation.

Simply an amazing deal for bulk storage when they go on sale (as they often have been). I've purchased multiple of these to take apart and use the drives in a NAS.

I am currently using this drive for media storage attached to a Plex Server. This thing performs very well, and you cannot beat the amount of storage for this price! The only downside is the appearance of the device; I would have preferred something a little easier on the eyes.

So far, so good. No issues with a bad drive, no issues writing things to the drive and so much space to back up pictures and videos (esp. as 4K video are pretty gigantic).

Got this for my Xbox one so I don’t have to waste time on downloading games. It’s nice I have just under 60 games and only used 27% storage

I bought this 'beast' to use on my Xbox One X. Just plug and play. Very fast, silent. If you are looking for extra space this is the one. Price also was really important.

This is the best bang for your buck storage. The hard drive is enterprise grade for a fraction of the price of the hard drive purchased on its own

Great for storing those games you don't play alot, but want to be able to access them without waiting for down loads. Keep in mind it's not an ssd and is loud like the older hd that comes stock with a basic pc. For the price and what I use it for it's perfect

Always like Western Digital hard drives this is the first one I've had you had to plug in but other than that it's great

As a filmmaker, storage is very crucial of having. Got this bad boy for a good deal. It's solid and definitely have no regrets purchasing this.

WD has been my tried and true for years. Easy to use, just plug in and start transferring files. I was able to transfer countless hours of video footage with ease.

Got this on sale and couldn’t be happier. Ended up choosing this model because it’s basically an enclosed Hard Drive... hoping to eventually switching over to a NAS system so I should be able to extract drive from it and swap over.

This is an excellent drive. Inside are WD Reds or White Label Reds, which are top quality drives. This drive when on sale is an excellent price / performance-quality ratio.

Bought this for my PS4 than external drive Works easily updates quickly love the fact that it has its own power pack so I don't have to strain my PS4 it's well worth the money I just wish Sony would allow us to put bigger hard drives in the units so I could have the USB port to do anything else I might need only drawback to these consoles that you have to get these gigantic drives to store your favorite games I wish the SSD drives would go down in price a lot more but for now this unit Works excellent you won't be disappointed pick it up today

A pretty average and slow external backup drive. Windows had to install an updated driver for this. It works, but there are better options out there. I also wonder why some companies would have an external drive stand up, vice lay flat?

Hard to find a better price for so much storage. I use this as supplemental storage, and copy everything back onto my hard drive for when I need to use data.

Easy to connect to pc. No problems at all running this hard drive with Windows 10. I copied 5TB of movies to it and the copy speed was exceptional.
