Bought a few of these for puttinf into my unraid server and they’ve been working great.

i've had this for 2 years now. it's connect to my main computer and used daily. quality and reliability, what more could you want

So far so good. Using it as a backup drive for my desktop PC. Couldn’t beat the sale price.

Have the 4 terabit and have been very happy with it . wanted a better selection .but sticking with wd as they have little to no issues. So far so good.

Purchased this product because of the amount of TB. I am not disappointed, and I can keep as much files and documents on this product and frees up space on my laptop

These drives are very fast--I'm getting about 150MBPS in transfers between 2 of them. They're also WD Red drives, so they should be quite reliable in most situations. :)

Great product. I've stored my movie collection and have lots of room left. Purchase during deal of the day. I would recommend.

This is a great external HD. I use it to archive data and pictures. It works great and I haven't had any issues when I have used it.

I have bought 6 of these, shucked them all for the 8tb HGST white label drive. Two year and not a single one has failed. Knock on wood. Great for NAS

I bought it in January to replace a WD drive that was about 4 years old - my drives usually make it about 5 years or so. Got a MyBook and it died in 3 days. I shrugged with a "manufacturing defects happen" thought. I went to the store to return and repurchase and I noticed that this one was discounted... and was still WD - "the best brand out there" - so I jumped on it! Worked GREAT, so I budgeted to afford another full-price one at the 6-month mark, to have a mirror of this drive. At the 4 month mark it just... died. I was in the middle of reading a muti-TB file and... poof. It went very quiet, made a few clicks, then quiet... and that was the end of 6TB of my data going back to the late 90s. Thankfully I (mostly) have my previous drive's data, and some stuff in the cloud. The one thing I don't have anymore: confidence in Western Digital products. They bit me twice in a row so they're done accessing my wallet.

This contains an 8TB red drive inside, which is a very good and durable hard drive. I've purchased several of these and they all work great with absolutely no problems.

Makes a great external USB 3.0 drive or you can shuck the internal drive for use in a NAS. Either way this Red drive is tried and true and should last you a long time.

The WD Easystore 8TB is an excellent HDD. Drive runs quiet and kool. Great price for 8TBs of storage. Bonus is you may get a WD Red drive. I highly recommend this HDD.

I take a lot of photos and wanted to have plenty of outside storage to be able to save space on my computer. So far, has been working as planned.

This was purchased for an Xbox One that had yet again run out of space. This worked out great. I’d definitely buy another one.

Shucking the drive to use in a NAS. Works great, and have no issues with this one, nor the others I purchased with it, nor the ones purchased previously.
