Plenty of room to back up large files, videos and photos. I like that the drive goes to sleep mode when not in use which will help it last longer.

We use this for our business and it is a quality product. Very easy to use and would recommend this product to anyone.

This drive has been great. There are a few different apps you can download for it too, but there weren't any instructions on where to find them.

Needed something for larger backup storage. The WD did the trick. Easy purchase online through Best Buy and picked up at local store.

I got these drives on sale. They work fine in the enclosure. I haven’t taken them out to just use the internal drives but that will come next.

Not much to review here .. just storage to transfer picture files from my phone. Other files too, but since we dont print our photos unless we buy new frames.... this is what we use to save them. It's pretty much my new photo album.

I download alot of programs and this drive has enough space for several hundred programs and movies. I have not had any issues with this drive.

Using it on my Xbox one x along with another wd 1.5 tb hd. Together I have over 10 tb of storage on my Xbox one x. Works amazing

Very nice as advertised. Bought for various, everyday Family pics & videos for my growing family. Simple set up, easy to use..

I bought it in January to replace a WD drive that was about 4 years old - my drives usually make it about 5 years or so. Got a MyBook and it died in 3 days. I shrugged with a "manufacturing defects happen" thought. I went to the store to return and repurchase and I noticed that this one was discounted... and was still WD - "the best brand out there" - so I jumped on it! Worked GREAT, so I budgeted to afford another full-price one at the 6-month mark, to have a mirror of this drive. At the 4 month mark it just... died. I was in the middle of reading a muti-TB file and... poof. It went very quiet, made a few clicks, then quiet... and that was the end of 6TB of my data going back to the late 90s. Thankfully I (mostly) have my previous drive's data, and some stuff in the cloud. The one thing I don't have anymore: confidence in Western Digital products. They bit me twice in a row so they're done accessing my wallet.

This hard drive is so great, lots of storage for all of my information, pictures, videos and music, everything from my laptop is backed up on it

Great drive and good price for the amount of space. I would recommend this for anyone looking to backup or a 2nd backup for their files.

I was looking for the external storage for a better price, this one i got a very good deal with lots of storage space.

It's worked wonderful for downloading all my movies and saving it to it so I don't have to look thru all my dvd and blu ray to pick what I want to watch

I wanted a NAS backup, but could justify the cost for my needs. I use this to back computer files. Very happy with it’s speed and reliability.

These are reliable and reasonably fast external drives that can hold a lot of data. Don’t hesitate to get this especially when it’s on sale.

I purchased this for my wife so she could move all of her pictures from her desktop and save some space and it has worked perfectly.

External drive was easy to setup and was recognized by my Server 2012 R2 instance right away. Setup as a backup drive for the server and working well.

Planning on switching to a PS4 pro in a few months. I got this to make sure the process was some enough and all my games would be accessible asap once I transferred my data from one to the other. So far it's been working fine on my normal ps4. I've noticed a difference in load times, them being a little slower but nothing too bad. Pretty much just plug and play. There are tutorials on YouTube on how to set it up for the PlayStation.
