Great Drive. Fast!

Not one problem. Speed is very fast using the USB 3.0 port. If you need an external high capacity drive for a low price, you can stop looking. This drive is perfect for that.

WD Drives are great

Please avoid Seagate - once upon a time they were the best - every Seagate drive I have is failing - being replaced with WD's. I wish WD's worked 100% with Mac's but using their free SW, you can do stuff like shut off the "energy saver" feature (which makes my Time Machine fail)

I did see 1 strange anomaly happen a couple times. After about 10 minutes the USB connection would disconnect and then reconnect as if it was unplugged and plugged back in. Not sure if it was the drive or my computer doing this. Otherwise it works as advertised.
