Over kill...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my Xbox, and yes it's over kill. I have 100+ games on this and its only using 14%. The only complaint I have is that it's a bit bulky and looks a little out of place in my entertainment center. That aside I'd get another one of needed, but I don't think I'll need to for some time.

I am mostly a Seagate buyer. The price was too good to pass up on this one. It has not quit. Data transfers are fast. The software is troublesome, I would not suggest using it.

I ended up not needing it and moved it around a bunch. It ended up failing, but thats not a common occurrence for these things. If you get one, chances are it wont fail on you. Plus the warranty covers it if it does. If you need an 8tb external hard drive, you cant go wrong with this one. They just need to use USB C in future versions.

I was a bit bummed because not even 24 hours before i purchased this, i saw a notification that there was a 10 tb for $179 with a thumb drive. When i got to the store, there was no such thing. Either way i'm still ok with this.
