Great price and reliable

Ran diskcheck and came back completely good with zero bad sectors. Preclear reads every bit, then writes zeros to each, then reads again. All with zero issues.

Easy to use HD

Transfer speeds are good works great with my Plex server, I don't have any problems with it. Great purchase specially if you get it on sale.

I would have expected type c usb as well. I do wish that someday, 8tb also can be portable and does not require electrical power to run... that still makes it feel like the old world when 500 go was powered by electricity.

The most storage for the best price

As an IT professional, I cannot lose data or client information. I have small sized WD drives, and haven't had any issues, and the backup software that comes with the drive is easy to use.

They are great as it or you can shuck the plastic off and get a great drive at a huge discount over a drive on its own.

Great archival drive

If you need an external drive to use for everyday use (extended storage) look at the MyPassport series.

Fast, cool (28C), and no problems so far. No complaints. Plan to order more in the future!!! Highly recommended!
