WD Red Inside

They are 5400RPM with 256gb cache. Shucked and placed in my media server. Great price at $159 for a bare drive that retails for $285.

8TB external hdd

Took the hdd out and added it internally to my desktop. Using it as a server pc. Well worth the price.

Great drive with large capacity

People say these have NAS drives inside, but as long as it's under warranty I am not going to mess with it. I am using as USB only and it works great for offline storage.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.These are immensely popular because they contain a high quality drive. Like most other external drives, they do tend to run hot due to poor ventilation, so it wouldn't hurt to use a fan to keep it cool.

great 8TB backup device and price

Right now it only does not backup files windows has open all the time. It is backing up all my data fine. It was cheaper than buying the hard drive by itself.
