Great pricing for 8TB. Fast transfer speeds with USB 3.0. I use it as a master back up for my whole system and could not be happier.

This is my third external he of this size from wd. It is fast and reliable with a lot of space. The only thing I don’t like about this drive is that it makes loud noise under heavy load. Other than that it will buy it again when I am running out of space.

Purchased this when Best Buy was having their daily deals during Christmas. Got it for half price. Works great for adding additional memory to my desktop computer.

Tested great 256mb no errors. Specs Identical to the Red version w newer plain white label, same firmware as well.

The drive is fast and allowed me to drop 2 4GB drives off of my system and into my son's system. It wants to configure as a back-up but I am using it for storage.

My 3 tb Toshiba is just to small and needed more room to store favorite videos and all the photos I have taken for work.

8gb is plenty of space for most home users. The USB 3.0 is a "Superspeed" port and was able to transfer our home videos very quickly for secure storage.

I needed a larger drive to replace a 300 MB drive that was full. I'll use it for travel, taking a limited amount of files, and use this one as my main storage.

I partitioned to make backup couple of devices I have and make sure is plugged it and when you don't need unplugged. otherwise keeps backup as much as you want.

I bought this on a great sale, and I have 5 other WD Storage units from Best Buy, but none like this with so much storage space. great buy, highly recommended.

WD Red inside. Best home consumer RAID drives out there. You won't be disappointed.

Bought this to replace my old ssd external drives and was very impressed. Transfer rate was good and had no problems after. Only downside is that it vibrates a little when data transfers are in progress. Would suggest getting a stand or mount.

Great backup solution, plugged into windows 7 box, added drivers and boom... backup with no problems. Now had for a couple weeks and works well.

I hooked this up to my PS4 and have so much more room to download games and things to. The drive itself is the WD Red and is worth more than the whole package

Solid external hard drive. Read/write speeds are fast, at least to the point I don’t find myself thinking it’s taking too long. Not much else to say, really.
