    Bought to back up an iMac, needed help from WD to initially make storage compatible. iMac updated and now time machine doesn’t update to easystore. I’m sure it can be fixed, it’s just not that intuitive to make it work.

    Is a good external hard drive came with schedule backup. This is the WD - Easystore 8TB External USB 3.0 Hard Drive - Black. Easy setup. I have had it for one month now. So for no problem. I Would recommend this to a friend.

    I purchased this to take the hard drive out of the enclosure. Luckly I got an 8tb WD Red which I was able to add to my desktop for only $150!

    Excellent for storing pictures and video. If the drive is less than 50% full, it can even take post production 1080 "punishment"

    Worked well at first, then started to say it couldn't back up. To be fair, could be user error. Not sure what's going on but I swtiched to a digital cloud service because I couldn't risk losing all of my business files.

    It's not bus powered but turns off when pc is not on.. Its 8 tb and supposedly has a red drive in it. so should last longer than 2 yr warranty.
