Easy/store is easy to use. I like the rounded shape too. The downside to this and some other external hard dives that are on the market is that the power port is very often proprietary, somewhat flimsy and over time can break. Given the sensitivity of the type of product it is this can present a problem. If allowed to go too far it can become quite difficult to obtain or transfer data from it and a replacement part for the port is difficult to find. Other than that it works well and is easy to use

Works as advertised and is a great affordable option for storage. 4 stars instead of 5 because it's not cutting-edge with the sleekest design nor fastest read-write speeds. But it gets the appropriate job done for the price point.

Installed 2 8 TB drives and using it as Raid1. It was comparatively easy to setup. Using it for a week.

This is a nice sized hard drive. I'm using it as a backup for my Mac system. The price was good compared to other options I've looked at. While it comes formatted for Windows systems, it is not too difficult to reformat to the Mac file system. But you have to do that to make it usable.

This drive is not too big physically but probably not something you want to use as a ‘carry around’ portable. The 8TB capacity is large enough to back up all of my 50,000+ photos and other video projects. It has good speed when transferring files. I haven’t had any problems transferring about 1TB of files to it from another drive. Under normal reading and writing of files it doesn’t seem too loud but I notice a light clicking sound every 10 seconds when the drive is idle. I do wish the drive would’ve come with a Micro B to USB-C cable.

I have several of these. I buy them Black Friday every couple years as the sizes increase. I am setting this one up for a Plex server at home connected to my router directly. I have a 4 TB connected to my Xbox One which is a faster interface than the internal drive and much more storage. Feel free to research the faster connection as I did before I bought this for that purpose. I have some others as external storage on my computers.

I have used the EasyStore external HD for two years now and it has been very useful to have instant access to backed up files. It turns on and off and disconnects easily which helps prevent data loss which I have had happen with smaller external drives. I recommend it highly.

This unit offers plenty of storage. No problems , easy to setup, time will tell about it’s longevity.

I have been using Western Digital products for years and have always had excellent results. You can't beat the price for the 8TB drive. As an Apple person I need to format my drives to Mac Compatible and it is a breeze. Handles Time Machine without fault and stores my wifes 100,000+ photos with ease. Yes, on occasion the drive does make very slight vibration on my desk that is virtually imperceptible and rare and runs very cool. I tried a Seagate as well and it was a mess. I highly recommend this drive as well as my additional 5 Western Digital drives that have given me nothing but excellent performance. I keep a full b/u of both my Macs on two different Western Digital drives and keep them locked away for safety purposes and only pull them out to update. I never worry that Western Digital will let me down and if needed, Customer Support was excellent when I had an issue with Time machine not backing up. Not Western Digitals issue, a mistake made by me.

We use it at work to backup video production, so we go through space pretty quickly. We've found that backing up on a hard drive like one and then storing it in a safe deposit box is much more cost effective than paying for "cloud storage". This unit is compact and easy to use.
