Completely shot. Took it to experts and they said the drive is dead. Normal use, stored in a filing cabinet when not in use.

I was using it for Time Machine backup so no data loss, but still... Won't be replacing it with any WD product. They show I purchased this July 2020 it was April 2019.

External hard drive

Seagate hard drive gives me no problems

A great way to waste $150

Best Buy only gives 30 days I guess since it says no longer returnable. Worst purchase i have made and I may start buying just from Amazon now.

Fails to backup Time Machine on MacPro 2010

I get an error message and it refuses to continue after one backup. I am using High Sierra on a mid 2010 Mac Pro. I hope I am able to return it for a working drive, as it is not old.

Garbage

One morning I noticed the drive is no longer powering up. No troubleshooting is possible. Its dead along with 2TB of my saved files.

YouTube these drives some people on YouTube say that you get a red nas inside that is simply not true this is just a cheap little drive I found errors when I scanned it so 1 star.

Died in less than 3 weeks of purchase

Haven't gotten it to work
