I would have expected type c usb as well. I do wish that someday, 8tb also can be portable and does not require electrical power to run... that still makes it feel like the old world when 500 go was powered by electricity.

I recommend this only as storage. It slow to wake up when you 1st access it. But once its going the write time is good. I plan on purchasing another one. I would not use this to run any virtual machine or OS installed directly. It will be extremely slow.

Great price and reliable

Ran diskcheck and came back completely good with zero bad sectors. Preclear reads every bit, then writes zeros to each, then reads again. All with zero issues.

Easy to use HD

Transfer speeds are good works great with my Plex server, I don't have any problems with it. Great purchase specially if you get it on sale.
