Works great so far

We purchased it because our other drive was filling up and we use a lot of hard drive space. This seems like it will work great until we can get a RAID system set up in its place.

Great backup device

It is working fine and the speed is more than adequate for my needs. I purchased this as a daily deal and it was an absolute steal.

Great for storing backups and photos

I use it for my media server to store movies and it hasn't had any problems in almost a year. Plug and play, works fast and like a charm.

WD Red Inside

They are 5400RPM with 256gb cache. Shucked and placed in my media server. Great price at $159 for a bare drive that retails for $285.

Took the hdd out and added it internally to my desktop. Using it as a server pc. Well worth the price.

Great drive with large capacity

People say these have NAS drives inside, but as long as it's under warranty I am not going to mess with it. I am using as USB only and it works great for offline storage.
