WD will tell you to send back the item, but delay months and not send you replacement, and also won't return the unit you send them

Untrustworthy

When I saw that Best Buy was selling an 8TB for just $160 I could not resist, especially when reviewers stated that a WD Red drive was in the box. However, to my dismay after installing it and connecting it to my MacBook Pro I found performance sluggish compared to my 4TB My Passport. What really compelled me to return it was when it started cutting in and out for no reason during a long copy session.

good storage

The only thing I didn't like is that has two lines (one is for power, the other is USB). If this needs only one line like 1T drive, it will be more convenient.

Great for one operating system
