It’s hard to realize how big 8tb are but I’ve managed to consolidate 4 two tb drives without issue

I love the fact that I have everything backed up and stored, and easily accessible.

Fails WD's own Drive Utilities diagnostics.... Hard drive reports as a WD80EMZZ which is a reasonably fast drive (Read 231MB/s - Write 216MB/s) but unfortunately does not pass WD's Drive Utilities - Extended test. Keeps hanging at 90% completion even after running for 20 hours. WD is not known for writing good software but I also wasn't going to trust storing my files on a hard drive that won't pass their own diagnostics.

Nice hard drive, works as works as expected. Slim case and large drive to hold all my files. happy

Yes it voids warranty but this is cheapest way to get wd reds. Pull them out and put in server. So far so good

Fast external hd good speeds, built really well, very tough

I have 3 of these - for the Mac, Xbox1 X and PS4 Pro. I never had any issues, so I'm very happy.

I purchased the WD easy store portable hard drive about a month an a half. I still trying to get it to working. The first problem is that their is no instructioning to follow. I have try to backup my computer for a few weeks and still won't backup my computer. I waited to long to return this product, now I am stuck with it. I thought I was getting a great idea but like some people say if it too good to be true , you better be careful. Now I have a nice looking paper weight, or put it in my bookshelf as part of my library. Sorry!

I had no problems hooking up the hard drive to my Xbox and the Xbox picked it up and worked without issue.

Initially I was hesitant because I had to reformat for Mac OS. It took me a few tries but I did figure it out.

Super fast storage. I get almost 200mb/sec going from a nvme drive to it. Well worth the buy.

Was told that 8TB was too much storage. The hard drive would dies before I ever used that much storage. Am returning for 2TB - 4TB external hard drive.

Connects without any issues. Is super fast when you transfer files to and from. Fits perfectly on my desk

Needed a drive to backup another one of my external drives and this one works perfectly with my Mac.

This thing is awesome will hold and play large files. Transfer 170mb speed is all I got so far.
