Good value... Works well as a backup and an external drive! Instructions could use a bit more clarification but if you know what you're doing, it's a solid product.

Massive storage for people who need the extra space. The only issue is that it has to be plugged into a power source which isn't a huge issue but can still be irritating if you don't have enough outlets.

You can't go wrong with 8Tb. So much space, only problem is sometimes the drive is temperamental and you have to wait to wake up. But for the price, I'll deal with it

I use these all the time for storing video project files. I've never had an issue at all.

Works well, and with other HDDs, if you decide to shuck the drive and plug in directly.

I have a few smaller 1 and 2 gig drives - this 8 Gig drive came available for a fantastic price at Best Buy and I am glad I purchased it. USB 3 is very fast and I doubt I will fill this drive up soon. Very satisfied.

I was looking for mass storage for a good price. Was about to build a NAS using bare drives. Saw the raving reviews and I bought these to use standalone and few for my NAS. All are working great, would highly recommend!

Great product. Definately worth ever cent especially with all the power outages lately. Greatful to Best Buy for having product in stock at my local store.

These drives when identified properly with the model number can score you a WD red 8 TB with 256 MB of cache. It's a very good deal if you know how to shuck them properly. It took me < 5 min and I had a WD red NAS drive.

Found it easy to setup, very intuitive. Has been reliable. Not unsightly. Does not overheat. Noise level low

Got this for the Series X for more storage. Works great for holding games that don't need to be played on the internal drive. Added a 1TB SSD for good measure!

Today people consume more data, files are getting larger but at the same timestorage space is getting cheaper. Great hardrive. i picked up 2.

Purchased this to expand my 1tb storage capabilities on my Xbox 1x. Once plugged in the xb1 quickly recognized it and instructions for formatting came up. I don't much delay in loading a game. It's quiet. Because it's a full size drive it requires to be plugged into an electric outlet on my surge protector. This is the main disadvantage for me in not going with a smaller portable drive. I knew this going into it and preferred the extra storage capacity on a full size. Very happy with this purchase

Western Digital is pretty much the king of Hard drives and their external offerings are no different. Great quality at a fair price in one little plug & play black box.

I now have two 7 TB hard drive hooked up to my desktop. Hopefully I will never run out of space again. This hard drive was an excellent price
