This Western Digital 8TB External Drive performs as expected. I purchased it to supplement my other WD external drives as my data continues to expand.

I have a few smaller 1 and 2 gig drives - this 8 Gig drive came available for a fantastic price at Best Buy and I am glad I purchased it. USB 3 is very fast and I doubt I will fill this drive up soon. Very satisfied.

I was looking for mass storage for a good price. Was about to build a NAS using bare drives. Saw the raving reviews and I bought these to use standalone and few for my NAS. All are working great, would highly recommend!

Western Digital is pretty much the king of Hard drives and their external offerings are no different. Great quality at a fair price in one little plug & play black box.

These drives when identified properly with the model number can score you a WD red 8 TB with 256 MB of cache. It's a very good deal if you know how to shuck them properly. It took me < 5 min and I had a WD red NAS drive.

This thing has tons of space ok so 8 Tb but it works great!!

Purchased this to expand my 1tb storage capabilities on my Xbox 1x. Once plugged in the xb1 quickly recognized it and instructions for formatting came up. I don't much delay in loading a game. It's quiet. Because it's a full size drive it requires to be plugged into an electric outlet on my surge protector. This is the main disadvantage for me in not going with a smaller portable drive. I knew this going into it and preferred the extra storage capacity on a full size. Very happy with this purchase

I've had good luck in the past with WD hard drives so this should hold up as well.

I purchased this external hard drive knowing that it contained a WD Red Drive inside. I was able to shuck it and know I have 40TB of Nas storage for a fraction of the price of buying a WD Red Drive. Thanks Best Buy!!

Initially bought a 4 but decided to upgrade to an 8 when there was a smaller difference in price.

Lots of storage, quiet and efficient. No problems so far. I find WD products to consistently be of very good quality and goid value.

Now I have 9TB of storage for my Xbox One X-Scorpio Edition. Maximizing the space continuum of gaming is just an awesome experience and worry-free attribute for needed space... Great price as a Deal of The Day item!
