If you see this one, buy it. I'm backing up everything on this beauty. Awesome prices, would love to see more colors and designs for this product.

Works as it should. The older ones had Red hard drives not sure about the newer ones. I haven't opened it up yet to take a look, 11/3/22, but will report back later when I get it open.

Does indeed come with a Red drive. Save $$$ over buying the bare drive and you have great and speedy storage. It is even faster than my 1TB 7200 RPM blue drive at 5400 RPM thanks to platter density.

It was actually cheaper to buy this external drive than to just buy the 8tb WD Red drive. We needed the drive for our server. The external case will get another drive dropped in and still be of use.

I have several hard drives that I use for work and personal photos and videos. These hard drives are dependable and I have not had any of them fail.

Very good quality external hard drive for the price. Very easy to use, setup, and begin transferring and storing data. Came with some junk on it that I had to remove so that wasn't so great. Otherwise, this is a fantastic external hard drive.

I bought this to replace a 6 TB MyCloud that is no longer supported. It was easy to set-up and works fine. Massive storage!

This has performed well for my needs. As an amateur photographer I use this drive to backup my collection of raw files

For the price and storage I am pleased with my purchase. It allows me to keep the things I wish to keep off line and safe from any hackers, ransomware attacks, ect....easy to install and easy to use.

I was hoping the hd was WD Red, but it was non colored, not sure if it’s the same. The product is quiet and has a fast transfer speed. Love the huge storage capacity, no more looking for other drive, everything is in one mass drive. Great price too. Only 4 star because it is not red drive inside per other reviewers.

This is a great hard drive! Just plug and play. Very user friendly.

Both physically and memory, I love it. I hope it is around for a while? I leave it on separate surge protector so I can leave it turned off unless I need it. Works good, plus I don't worry about over heating.

easy to install. Loads fastest if plugged to USB port on the PC itself. Slowest when plugged to multiport usb router whether powered or not!

I trust the WD brand. No brainer for me when it's on sale. Everything is good so far, good speed, quiet, compatible with both Mac and Windows. Will see if the drive can withstand the test of time!
