I've had my eye on a sale on 2 external hard drives for months. At the price best Buy offered this 8 terabyte external hard drive for $ 123.00 I had to have 2. Very quiet hard drive. Sturdy. 3.0 usb drive. Great looking. Came packaged perfectly. Looks great. I'm extremely happy with my purchases. Arrived in two days. Highly recommended. I don 't think you'll be disappointed.

Bought this on sale at $179, a few days later they had a similar model on sale at $129, which naturally sold out, so I am stuck with this one, but I'm still happy with it.

Bought for a ps5 works great and will never run out of storage. Even has a fan to keep it cool while running.

Best part was it was easy to set up and start using. Next it has a ton of storage so that is a huge plus. I don’t notice much of a difference in speed though from usb 3 to my 3 port. Seems about average in speed. Would recommend this product for the average home user like myself.

The WD EasyStore 8TB external hard drive is a must for anyone with any kind of computer. Most hard drives on desktop and laptops have a max capacity of 1-2 TB. With the Easystore, backing up data is a breeze, recalling files is simple, and clearing out a hard drive that is near capacity will increase the efficiency of the computer itself.

Good price for 8TB external drive. Transfers from this drive to NAS drive over GigEthernet connection at 60MB/sec. Not the fastest rate, but still very good performance.

Bought this to consolidate several computers worth of pictures, documents, games, movies onto one drive. Should be able to fit everything onto this. Here's to hoping...

Purchased this item during a sale, which makes the price per GB a great deal. I wanted to store my videos and be able to watch it on my phone. However, a NAS is required for this. I noticed that my router allows one to plugin a USB device and share the contents of that USB on the network. I had this item purchased before I checked if this was compatible w/ the router. And I was disappointed that it wasn't, and online sources say that the router only supports up to 3TB at most. Yet I was hopeful, so I transferred one file onto the hard drive and plugged it in on the router, and it worked! I was able to watch the video through the router! My TV, my phone, my other computer, all of them can access the external hard drive now. (W/ a big performance hit, though nothing to be surprised as the router isn't supposed to replace a NAS anyway) Overall, am really happy w/ the purchase, hopefully it'll last long while plugged in on the router.
