Works as great extra storage for my samba and plex

I am using this as a storage drive fro my home samba server and plex tv server. So far it is fantastic. It is reachable over the network via shar and gives me 7.75 TB of storage. Which makes me happy. The price for it at the time was good so I am happy with the purchase. I bought this particular drive because if I want I can take it out of it's shell and use it as an internal drive.

It works, but runs very hot. Don't put it in a place without good airflow.

Large Storage Space!

Really great to finally have a large - 8T - storage drive that is reasonably priced and very easy to install & use. It can be used as primary storage or a great backup storage space. As everyone knows -- BACKUP your files! And this size makes it easy.
