This external Hard Drive is really good. It is very simple and easy to use. No setup required. Just plug and play and start backing up your files.

Got this drive for a great price and very happy with it's performance.

The best bang for your buck bar none. Decided to lift the hood to see what type of drive was enclosed. Much to my surprise it is a WD Red!

Got a great Black Friday deal on this to expand my storage (again) on my Xbox One X; $130! Western Digital is my recommended storage solution. They have great speeds and I've never had any issues with files being corrupted.

I plan to use this drive to both organize and backup all of my data.

Have just purchased and set up this WD HD 8T. Everything you really need comes with it plus many opportunities to spend more on other programs...I'm not doing that. This is primarily a back up source for the rest of my data which amounts to a WD 2T My Book, 1T internal drive, 500G Solid State and another 500G WD Passport. We did purchase the extended warranty.

The WD easystore external hard drive is a sturdy and reliable one for its reasonable price. It offers decent transfer speeds for moving and copying files. If only external SSDs were more affordably priced in that storage size, that would be a more viable alternative for content creators.

Can't go wrong with an 8TB WD Red inside. Only worth it when on sale.

This 8TB drive is virtually silent while running and lightning fast over USB 3. I have two aging 4TB drives where I keep all of my data stored. A NAS drive would likely be a better option as I do redundant backups of irreplaceable data like photos of my children growing up and other highly treasured data. However, I’ve read too many horror stories of home NAS boxes failing and bricking all enclosed drives in the process, even if the drives were removed and tried elsewhere. So, I use two independent external drives and this drive fits the bill perfectly. With two of them running, you barely hear a thing. Copying nearly 4TB of backed.up data was effortless and fast. Throughput speeds are very nice. I’ve had no issues with the drive and it comes pre-formatted in NTFS. I use it with Win 10.
