Great hard drive for Xbox One S

Works great, just as advertised, and I got it while it was on an incredible sale, so it didn't hurt the wallet too much either.

Got this after my other drive crashed and lost everything. Should have gotten this brand to begin with as I have never had problems with this brand.

Great Value when on sale

I got mine last time for $160 making it a great value for storage. inside the enclosure was a 8TB WD red drive (about $250 retail) making it $100 cheaper to get the external.

Good sustained transfer rates

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The 8TB drives are not part of the current hard drive fiasco that is biting Western Digital, Seagate, and others. The drive ended up dying, but I quickly received a replacement from Western Digital. I recommend stress testing your drive prior to putting it in to use as primary or backup storage.

Great backup drive for the price

I plug them in to back up and unplug them afterwards. This is the best way to extend their life. Haven't had any issues with any of my external HDs because of this. If you keep them plugged in all the time, you run the chance of shortening their lifespan.
