Good sustained transfer rates

The drive ended up dying, but I quickly received a replacement from Western Digital. I recommend stress testing your drive prior to putting it in to use as primary or backup storage.

Awsome backup drive
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.SUPER fast backups. PMR NOT SMR like > 5tb seagate external drives. Drive inside CAN be taken out and used inside as it is either a WD RED NAS drive OR it is the same drive but Enterprise Version. Why would ANYONE not want to use this even for backups would be beyond me. Best Buy has improved greasily and will see a lot more purchases from me.

Solid drives, fast HD video storage and playback

Nary a glitch in almost two years. 4 of them have 12 hour a day access, and two have 24 hour access. Plug and Play

Easy to configure router.

It performs as specified. I did have two issues: first it is difficult to keep the Wi-Fi antennae oriented properly; second, my ISP ended up installing a bonded circuit (two DSL in parallel), and Netgear routers do not work with bonded circuits..

Bought for my son's Xbox .

I would recommend if you need alot of external space or a full hard drive. Plug in play.
