Easy hook up transfer great space and storage not to big

I use this drive to backup my media and it's been great!

At the price that Best Buy charged for this 8 TB external hard drive, it is remarkable. The drive works perfectly. I put two of these in my computer and now have at total of 24 TB of hard drive space to play with.

I buy these and shuck the enclosures to put the drives in my home NAS. The drives are the same as WD Red drives I have been told. Get value when they are on sale.

Exactly what I was looking for. Easy to use and speeds are very efficient and reliable. Especially on sale when you're able to get it for less than $20 a TB it's worth the money.

If you need storage space, this is a pretty good option.

Great drive with high capacity for backup. The only real issue is it does not cool as well as it should, but it really is great to have all that capacity. I must be pleased, this is the second one I've gotten. Sure is a long way from the very first hard drive I ever bought; a 20MB (yes MB) drive. This seems to work great and quiet.

I did a little research on the best external drive to use for storage and this one came highly recommended from several sites I visited. It was easy to attach to my PC and is working flawlessly.

I like it so far even though it is not 7200rpm drives inside. I use it to backup my home videos and pictures from our vacations. That way we have an extra copy on one archive drive instead of spanning multiple external usb drives like in the past. Hopefully, it'll last a couple of years before we need to upgrade to a larger drive.

I usually get Seagate hard drives, but they didn't have any in stock when I had a drive that went bad on me (something I haven't had happen for years). Thought I would give this drive a go since it was well rated and since it was on sale for a good price for the capacity. Its speed is very good... five star on that. We had a little difficulty with it kicking out of iTunes now and then (with my iTunes library being on it), so that is the one thing that lowered my rating slightly. No other problems so far.

I was looking for a hard drive big enough for family photos and videos that was user friendly. This hard drive was plug in and go and there is a lot of space. Recommend to anyone with a lot of family photos

I bought this for use on my Xbox One to store all my games on. I don't think I'll ever be able to fill this thing up! 8,000GB worth of storage. I highly advise buying this, it's a steal!
