Got it on sale

Works for my purposes as a backup drive. It's Best Buys version of the WD mybook, they're essentially the same thing. Based on my serial number it has a WD white drive inside of it. Can be used for Network Attached Storage too if your router has a USB port on it.

Skinny but not too tall either so it's easily stored. :)

so far so good for 8TB drive

No apparent issues with the drive after the first two months of use. iTunes is rather slow to launch, although that seems likely due to the size of the library rather than any issues with the drive itself. Mfr warranty is two years -- will followup if issues arise within warranty period.
