These are excellent hard drives and provide a huge amount of storage for a great price. I use this with a small PC for media streaming and it works great.

Great drive for large storage. this drive is great for using as a server. connect it to your wireless router with USB and store all your videos and music on it.

Who doesn't need more space? Great large capacity hard drive at a great price. I have never had a problem with Western Digital hard drives, they last years and years and I trust them.

Magnificent . . . I have two 4TB WD Drives, one 4TB WD Drive, and two 4TB Seagate Drives for Video and Audio Backups. Since it is a desktop HDD, it does require a power brick and will not run off the computer without it. I usually disconnect the drives and store in a cool dry place so I am (usually) not worried about electromagnetic damage from power surges or the like (also have UPS). 8TB is Nice . . . But I Will Need More Space! I will probably end up buying the 10 and 12 TB shortly depending on how I rotate the A/V across the drives.

Works great as my network backup drive. Connected to the router via usb3. All computers can use for shared folders or individual backups. Worth every penny, especially when on sale.

This item is the best. The case itself can house any 3.5 mm sata internal hard drive, and the existing one in here can be removed to use as a WD internal red. Great product at great price.

Plug, and play with my PS 4 pro. I don't like boxes, or disks hanging around. So now I download almost all my games. It looks nice, sitting in the background , waiting to do it's job. You do have to plug it into a pad port, so you sacrifice a player port. If you want you can purchase a multi usb port adapter. I have had no issues, even when I had lost power situations, or a cold boot. it checks itself, and goes back to work. No worries! Love it!

Well this is a great fast drive and 8 TB capacity and a Red Drive at a great price. Can't ask for any thing better. Great product and price at Best Buy. Very happy with the purchase

It is fast, and ready to use out of the box. it comes with a USB and power cable too. Considerably more durable than other make,.is a hard deal to pass up when it comes to massive amounts of storage for cheap. Was instantly recognized by windows and received no errors

This harddrive was a great price for its size and works awesome as a network drive for my 3 computers at home. Was easy to setup and worked right out of the box.

I have two of these, bought the second because the first is filled. Usb 3 make it way faster than usb 2. I ended up reformatting it for linux (ext4) but it comes ready for windows
