This external hard drive provides ample space for all my music, photos and videos. Easy to use and compact which makes it easy to store.

I've bought about 20+ of these (yes, literally twenty or more drives) and they're incredible. Never had a single one fail. The drives are whisper quiet, small enough to throw into a corner, and makes it easy to head to your in-laws or parents and back up their data and haul it home for an offsite backup. I highly recommend these drives to ANYONE looking for some serious portable store. If you're like me you'll find yourself collecting these every time they go on sale.

Great storage and so easy to use - have 3 of these drives now. Make sure you get the NESN version, and look for it on sale.

It's a great HD with plenty of storage! Only weird part is running macOS 10.15.7 Catalina after a while the HD will just "can't create backup folder". Tried the "turn off power save mode" too. I just have to re-plug it in to make it work. So, besides that, it's fantastic.

Large Storage at a Reasonable Price When on Sale. Noise levels are reasonable, and I am happy with the transfer speeds .

This unit is a little noisy but works well when archiving data.

Its a hard drive. So far so good. Using this to farm my Chia. At night I hope and wish the Chia gods would bless my plots with some chia. but no luck so far.

Excellent value at $160. USB 3.0 and backward compatible. Have been very happy with past WD products. When on sale, grab this item.

I love how inexpensive these drives are and they still come with WD Reds in them although they are just white labeled.

fly right on down to best buy if you want some good machines,but make sure you've got a decent computer that can keep up with its revolutionary 5gb speed--i had to get a new one because my old one was always catching up-

Product works well with transferring data from windows 10 to windows 11. My only complaint is that I wish the instructions were more informative.

I used to purchase Seagate drives only but am finding that they fail at a pretty high rate. Over the years I 've had 6 or 7 die and lost data. The WD drives don't seem ot have that problem and the price is very competitive.

Good HD for storing games. Easy hook up. Lots of game storage.

Was easy to transfer all my files over. It's quieter than the last one I bought, tona of storage, 8tb for under $180.

Huge capacity and fast speed are what this product offers and it delivers. I have no need for the software that it comes with, so I don’t know if it’s any good. The only question at this point is how long will it last.

Massive HDD, I use this as my backup mass storage. I would recommend this.

Drives are great stand alone Personal Clouds but if you are building a NAS, you can shuck the drives out and use them in your NAS.
