I use it to back up a NAS so I do not really need the included software. I prefer Western Digital over Seagate based on personal experience.

Great but will not re install after move

Was so very fine until we moved and even though parked and protected in our personal items, we couldn't get it to be re installed after 4 hours with tech support.

Got my back!

Besides, the old hard drive was too small to hold all of my material. The easy store holds 8TB of data and backs up every hour automatically. Though more expensive than I anticipated, after the purchase I believe that it is worth every penny! This unit truly "has my back!"

These are very fast, large, and reliable drives. You'll be hard pressed to find a better deal than this until 8TB drives are much cheaper.
