Great External Drive!

I was getting 130 mbps plus. It's also pretty quiet compared to other drives. I found Seagate drives to be the loudest and less reliable. I've never had any negative problems with Western Digital drives and always prefer buying them over Seagate!!!

Great Storage device

It does get a little warm when using and does seem to make a little noise but not as loud as some stated. Fast back up for a large amount of storage, and seems to be working fine for me. Have used for 1 month so far.

Great for PS4!

Works flawlessly on the PS4. It uses DC power (not a fan of it but it's fine) but it turns itself off when the PS4 is turned off which is great because my old one would stay on until it was manually turned off.

Exceptional Back-up Drive

It has performed well. The software that comes with the drive is also a plus. I believe to obtain the software you need to purchase the WD back-up drive that says plus. Or maybe I could be wrong. However, it is worth considering while searching for large backup drive.

Reliable. backup drive

I trust WD and the quality of their drives. They are super fast for data transfer and are also super quiet when connected to a computer and left on. WD also has great prices on these drives compared to other manufacturers.
