They are extremely reliable without breaking the bank. Inside this unit you will either find a WD Red or a "white" version, which apparently is a Red with an OEM tag.

Great drive for the price when on sale!

Will fit perfectly into a NAS or PC with a little elbow grease. Search for the DataHoarder sub on Reddit to find guides on how to make the best of your new drive!

There is a WD Red drive in this, which is the best possible for always on storage for things such as an NAS and storing your video/pictures/audio. At the price it was on sale, you can't pass it up -- or shouldn't.

It has not failed and gives me the additional punch that I couldn’t get by replacing the hard drive in the PS. It appears to play well with the PS4, anytime the power is lost, the PS4 discovers the extended storage and “fixes” it with no issues whatsoever.
