This devise worked fully as expected. Super easy, plug and play setup. Reasonable read/write speed. Good value.

I bought 2 for my gaming systems. This is a Powered Hard drive and great for meeting the needs of anyone looking to backup Games from an Xbox 1S. Note: Updates may take longer after games are moved because you are backing up at the speed of the USB transfer rate and not just speed from Internet to console. Light on front is constant when on and blinks when in stasis/ idle mode.

This 8tb External Hard Drive is a perfect addition for the Xbox One. It's USB 3.0 connection transfers data quickly. Great Price. I would recommend this product.

While not the fastest 3.1 or 3.2 USB, it can transfer around 93MB-S so for an external drive not too bad...

This external storage device is small, quiet and stays cool. Very fast as a backup device via USB 3.0 and the included or any user backup software. Reliable!

Excellent capacity for the cost!!! You can't beat the cost for the drive inside.

This is a solid product for long time storage. The hard drive alone is three hundred dollars. Word of caution though. Make sure you use the power cord and USB cord that comes with the product. I tried using older power cords from past hard drives. They will fit but do not carry enough current to properly function without errors. So far so good. I highly recommend. Especially when they are on sale

Use on of these as a backup drive. Works great not too loud or hot.

Excellent Hard Drives. Speed is good, I wish it had better ventilation. Tends to overheat with heavy use.

Simple drive and fast drive it does not encrypt the drive so if the controller fail you can swap it out with another one . 2 year warranty is also good too

1st, kudos to Best Buy for safe and hassle free curbside pickup. As for the WD drive.. The (sale) price per TB was attractive and the performance has been very good. I plugged it in to the USB port on my router and leave it on all of the time. It is a great backup destination for all of the computers in the house. Poor Man's NAS!

This external hard drive has more than adequate space and is easy to set up.

Runs way to hot. I leave my computer on overnight and the hard drive is over 55 degrees when I use it in the morning. Under load it goes over 60 degrees.

I am a landscape photographer and I bought this drive to back up a raid that Where I have all of my professional photos Stored. This drive is fast enough and large enough to even store my RAW original files. Highly recommend this drive. Also I have bought some in the past to shuck and install in a raid. They work well in there too.

Plug and Play - works well with Windows 10 environment. Overall has been reliable.
